Friends of Holmewood

About the Friends of Holmewood

The Friends of Holmewood exists mainly to provide a social forum within the school and to raise money for extra school equipment as well as making specific charity donations.

All parents automatically become Friends, and as well as our fundraising activities, we aim to foster friendly relations between parents and School. We hope to see as many of you as possible at one or more of our events over the course of the year.

The 2011 Annual General Meeting took place on 6th October in the Jubilee TheatreAGM Minutes are available for viewing or download - click here

The Friends

The Committee members all put a lot of hard work and enthusiasm into our events, ably assisted by teams of 'willing helpers'; if you would like to become a helper please email Sarah Merriman to add your name to the list. I would like to thank all the Committee members and helpers for giving us their time and effort so that the School community can enjoy such a varied calendar of events, and particular thanks are due to the Clerk of Works, Allan Stronghill, and his team, without whom none of our events would happen.

Please feel free to approach any member of the Committee if you would like to know more about any aspect of the Friends.
